Newborn sessions, the best way to encapsulate the beginning of your next biggest adventure. Babies are only newborns for the shortest time, make sure you remember the small things.
By booking a session with me, we can capture all the little things that are easily forgotten.
I know the idea of leaving the house so soon after having your new baby can be daunting.
Packing their bag, getting them and yourself ready but I promise to make the experience a simple as possible.
So soon after birth you may not feel like having your photos done but it is worth it.
Having photos with your new baby will provide beautiful memories for a lifetime.
I talk you through outfit choices and can organise hair and make up if you want it as well.
When and how to book
The best time to photograph newborns is within the first 5-14 days after they have been born. This is when they are still curly and sleepy from birth so are most likely to be able to be positioned into those beautiful poses you see.
You can get in touch with me at any stage in your pregnancy to book in for your session. We mark your due date and then work out the best date when baby arrives.
If you have already had your baby, don't worry, you can still book in and we will try to get you in as soon as possible.

Where the session takes place
Your newborn session will take place in the comfort of my home studio in Te Awamutu. I set up my lounge to suit all our needs for during the session. This means you get to chill out on my couch while I focus on creating beautiful images that you will love for a lifetime.
How long does it take
I always advise allowing 2-4hours for your newborn session, this allows us lots of time to work around your baby for feeding and settling.
Newborn Session Fee - $175
Your Newborn session fee covers my time, talent, post processing of images and your personalised ordering session.
Ordering Session Information
After your session and once I have hand edited your images, I bring you back for your ordering session. It is here that I show you a beautiful slideshow of your images and we go through together to decide how you want to enjoy these memories for years to come. I offer a variety of different stunning professional products for you to choose from along with digital packages.
